POWER PRESS
Last week saw CDHBU travel to Rennie to take on the Hoppers. In beautiful weather conditions, the Power came away with three wins in the footy and five wins in the netball.
Under 14's - The Under 14's were back to their brilliant best and were just too big, strong and quick for their opposition. Kane Barbour was back to his outstanding best for the Power, dominating all over the park. Hayden Filliponi, John Webb and Alex Ash were using their speed and skill to their advantage, while Mark Playford, Tim Gilchrist and Jordan Lavis all got amongst it.

Under 17's - Our Under 17's this week needed a win on the board to eep them in finals contention and came out ready to play from the first bounce. In the second half Rennie came out with some spark, but the Power were up for the challenge, running in numbers and putting plenty of pressure on their opposition. Harri Downing was in tip top shape for the Power getting plenty of the ball, while Matthew Ross was brilliant in the forward line and Robert Craft kept the backline in check all day.

Reserves - The Reserves came out firing from the first bounce, never really giving their apponents a look. The Power led from the start of the game and kept up the pressure for four quarters. Dave Lethbridge was best for the Power with his speed and skill proving too good for Rennie. Kristian Ward, Daniel King and Dustin Nixon were providing heaps of run, while Dennis Tomlinson was the main target up forward.

Seniors - The Seniors played out a close game this week all through the match with neither team getting to any sort of big lead. In the end Rennie were the more desperate side wanting the ball and wanting the win. Levi Roos once again was outstanding at centre half back, providing the Power with plenty of run out of the backline. Wes Amor, Brad Talbot and Ryan Rhodes all put in a mighty effort, while Paul Phibbs was getting plenty of the Sherrin in the midfield.
