In a very tight contest in the first quarter the Power held a 2 point lead. The second was no difference with both team having a real go with Matt McDonald, Deaken Clancy and Jim Hanrahan all playing great footy but Howlong was able to take a 7 points lead into the main break.
The third quarter it was the Power who came out and took the game on keeping Howlong to 1point while the Power kicked 3 goals. The Power where getting plenty of drive from Taylor Baker Tom Hynes along with Cam Dutton which gave the boys a 10 point lead.
