Coreen Daysdale Hopefield Buraja United is the merger of the Coreen Football Club, the Daysdale Football Club & the Hopefield Buraja Football Club.
All three teams were participants in the now redundant Coreen League & in 1996 Coreen & Daysdale Football Clubs first merged to become the CDU Saints. They played as that identity until 2005, making the finals in 2000, 2004 & 2005 (losing the grand final). Hopefield Buraja joined the merger in 2006 after being in recess in 2004 & 2005. CDHBU then won back to back senior premierships in 2006 & 2007.
2008 saw the Coreen League fold & CDHBU moved into the nearby Hume League, because of a clash of mascot & jumpers CDHBU Saints became the CDHBU Power.
