Jarrod Hanrahan has taken out the Best & Fairest Vote Count for CDHBU Football Club, while youngster Simone Hanrahan won the A Grade Best and Fairest award for CDHBU Netball Club, which was held last Sunday at Coreen. We also held the Junior Presentations on the day.
Hanrahan won the award with 87 votes, 25 votes in front of second placed winner Doug Lavis, who finished with 62 votes. In the Reserves Ian Bock was the clear winner with 80 votes, the Under 17’s award went to Matthew Ross, who finished on 59 votes. While in the Under 14’s Kane Barbour won for the second year running with 80 votes.
In the netball, 16 year old Simone Hanrahan took out the top award with 39 votes, 18 votes in front of second placed winner Tasanee James, who finished with 21 votes. In the B Grade Loren Filliponi was the winner with 21 votes, while in the C Grade Jacqui Kuschert won her second B & F award for the club with 22 votes. Carmen Hanrahan took out the C Reserve award with 29 votes and in the Under 16’s Ruby Svarc won her second B & F award with 30 votes. The Under 14’s ended up being very close, with Megan Leahy winning by 2 to take out the award.
