The Power seniors had the hard trip to Osborne and came away with a 70 point defeat. Osborne where on top from the first bounce and dominated play, having all the play as they went to quarter time leading by 36 points, 5.7 to 1 point. Through the efforts of Troy Duke, Jarrod Hanrahan and Brad Talbot the Power were a lot better in the second quarter and stayed with Osborne to trail 8.9 to 2.2 at half time. A quick goal after the long break to Jeremy Pargeter gave Power hope but Osborne were ruthless on the attack of the ball and only the great efforts of Matt Ross and Andrew Ollington in the backline stop the margin being more at three quarter time with Osborne leading 13.12 to 4.5. The Power continued to battle it out in the last quarter but some missed shots stop the Power getting any closer at Osborne ran out winners 15.18 to 5.8.

Power A grade started strongly against Osborne and quickly opened up a 6 goal lead at the first break. Power's midcourt moved the ball quickly into goals in the second quarter, while the defenders worked hard to limit Osborne's scoring opportunities. Sally Smith was brilliant in GK, forcing Osborne's shooter to leave the circle to get the ball. Grace Hanrahan had a great game in WD getting plenty of turnovers. Hayley Kuschert was too strong for her opponent, and made great use of her strength to create space in the goal circle. Power refused to give in to Osborne, they got their game flowing nicely and kept Osborne to just 5 goals in the last quarter to win by 13 goals. Final scores, Power 40 to Osborne 27.
B grade was a scrappy game, Power was unable to settle into a direct game, and we didn't make the most of scoring opportunities in the first half. Power's defenders - Cindy Charlton, Meghan Hanrahan and Hollie O'Donoghue were brilliant, denying Osborne any chance to score. Karina Collins and Lou Clohessy were fantastic and kept the ball moving into the goals with their precision passing. Power's defensive pressure kept Osborne to 14 goals for the game with Power winning 44 to Osborne 14.
