CDHBU Power youth policy has been recognised by the Hume League with two of the Power’s up and coming players being nominated as a Weekly NAB Rising Stars. Aaron Ray was the Round 13 winner and Round 17 saw Damien Wilson nominated as the rising star.
Nineteen year old Aaron has had a very consistent season for the Power on the wing, regularly being named in the best. It’s been a great reward for the effort Aaron has been putting in on the training track and the hard work has been showing out each Saturday. While fifteen year old Damien debut this season for the Power and has been very good in the five games that he has played. Damien also represented NSW at the 15 and under National Carnival in Canberra during July and was named NSW best player at the carnival.
Weekly winners receive a NAB Sports Bag and associated goods and both Aaron & Damien are a chance of being the overall winner for the Season who will receive a cheque for $500 from the NAB Bank.
