The day started well in the football with the Under 14’s having a 54 point victory. The players moved back and Power raced away in the second quarter kicking 9 goals to nil to lead at half time by 35 points. The second half was reasonably even was players swapped side to make it an even contest, the final score being 13.9 to 5.3.
