Herne Bay Basketball Club operates both men’s and women's teams that compete within the East Kent Basketball Association (EKBA) competitions.

League and Cup games are generally played between October and April each year, with home matches held on Wednesday evenings from 19:30 - 22:30 at The Bay Sports Arena. Training sessions during this time are on Monday evenings from 20:45 - 21:45.

During the off season (May - September), training sessions are held on Wednesday evenings from 19:30 - 21:30 at The Bay Sports Arena.
