North Brunswick's reserves kicked off their finals campaign on Saturday with a solid win over Kew at Garvey Oval.
After defeating Kew in the last Home and Away fixture, our boys were confident that with a focus on hard, contested footy, they could take the game away from Kew. This proved to be the case with North Brunswick getting out to as much as a 42 point lead, before eventually winning by 26 points and moving through to the Second Semi Final this weekend.
Stalwart Brad Robertson kicked 4 goals, while Donny Manoukian and Jarryd 'Chucky' Dimarco chimed in with 2 goals apiece.
Andrew 'Lekkas' Mountney and Andrew Cooper were amongst the best in a fantastic team effort and a great start to our finals campaign.
NTH BRUNSWICK 11.13.79 defeated KEW 8.5.53
Goal Kickers: B. Robertson 4, D. Manoukian 2, J. Dimarco 2, S. Adair, D. Briffa, D. Makdessi
