Some could be confused with the current weather conditions, but the footy fixture assures us that the change in season is coming. The Friars have both Seniors and Reserves in the finals action that begins on Saturday August 29. In reality though the finals start this Saturday in the penultimate round of the regular with our final two games against the other form clubs of the competition in Rupertswood and Werribee. With these games critical in our efforts to get into the top two, we would love to have a big crowd at these games.
The Saturday is the trek to the homestead in Sunbury against top team Rupertwood, and then followed by our final game for the season at
fabulous Friar Park next week against Werribee. A special lunch will be available to our supporters on the day.
