The club has established an affiliation with the Park Orchards North Ringwood Parish Junior Football Club this is extremely important to the two clubs establishing a pathway for junior players to move in to senior ranks in the great environment provided by Amateur Football. This weekend sees the celebration of the 40th Anniversary to be held at Domeneys Reserve, Park Orchards at 3:45pm on Sunday.
The club has a number of current Whitefriars students playing there, a number of them sons of Friars. The club will continue to work with the junior football club on providing mutually beneficial programs in place to advance both clubs.
For those closest to the senior club, Park Orchards colts team plays in division 3 of the Yarra League. They are currently undefeated and are up against 3rd placed Surrey Park this week at Domeneys another great reason to be at the 40th celebration!
Whitefriars OCFC wishes the club a great celebration and look forward to further development of our affiliation in the years to come.
