We went into this game full of confidence, we started well with good running and taking risks, our pace was a worry for the opposition. However they lifted their intensity at the footy and loaded up numbers around the contest and we fell into the trap of over committing to many players at the footy which goes against our game plan. We needed to open the game up but we didn't and consequently played into their hands. As result our accountability suffered and we got cut up around the stoppages. It was disappointing that the players stopped working for each other and played for themselves. Only in the last quarter did we get the game on our terms with our run and carry of the footy. A great reminder! We have a lot of work to do to make sure we don't make the same mistakes again.
