Leopold take Championship in high standard Final

The two finals were played in near perfect conditions before the season's biggest crowd who were treated to some excellent team and individual performances.

At the conclusion of both matches, all girls were presented with medallions in recognition of their contribution to the inaugural season and Leopold took home the first-ever Geelong Youth Girls Premiership Cup.

Organisers and team officials have been very pleased with the season which augurs well for a bigger and better competition next year - any girls interested in playing can contact AFL Victoria's Geelong region Development Manager John Edsall on 0418 542233.
