•What Clubs has the Agent dealt with before ? Who does he usually deal with at the Club?
•What experience does the Agent have in managing players, in particular young draft picks?
•What does the Agent know about the Club you are going to?
•What football experience does the Agent have whether it be playing, administering etc.?
•Is the Agent an AFL Accredited Agent?
•What fees does the Agent charge and exactly what services does the Agent provide?
•Has the Agent got an office in the city where you are possibly going to be relocated to?
•If not, how does he intend to manage your career and what examples of good management in that situation does he have ?
•What does the Agent know about relocation, accommodation, transportation, medical funds, superannuation, education and employment opportunities ?
•Has the Agent got any sort of background in financial management?
•Is the Agent prepared to come to where you live to meet with you and your parents?
•What sort of real feedback ie football wise, can the Agent give you?
•What assistance can the Agent give to you to help get you drafted?
•What sort of infrastructure does the Agent have ? ie is he/she a one man band? does he/she have offices (if so where) ? What is the make up of his/her staff and what is the make up of their skill set ?
•How many players does the Agent manage and from what range of Clubs?
•What is the Agents relationship like with the AFLPA?
•What genuine interest does the Agent have in you ? ie does he know what you want to do after football ? Does he know how to assist you to get in to education, traineeships, short courses etc.
•What sort of communication program does the agent have with his clients ?
•What systems does the Agent have in place to address all types of issues during your career ?
•What experience does the Agent have to deal with someone like you ? ie if you are from the country as opposed to city ?
•Has the Agent spoken to your football club manager and coach and does he understand the way in which your club wants the manager to conduct himself during the season whilst you are trying to play the best footy you can to put yourself in the best possible position to be drafted ?
•Does the Accredited Agent understand the Rules of the AFL?
•Why is the Accredited Agent managing players?
