THANK YOU FROM SHANNON SMITH AND FAMILY
Our thank you seems small compared to all you’ve done, but it comes from the heart. We would like to thank all individuals for the support that they have shown the whole family during this traumatic time. We are sorry for not mentioning everybody individually as they are too numerous to mention, but please know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed.

· We would like to thank everybody for their support and the money that was raised at the fundraiser for the family and everybody that donated which has enabled us to be here by Shannon’s bedside.
· Greenie (trainer) – thank you for not leaving Shannon’s side after the incident.

· Thank you to all the Western Magpies players and club members that have been there for Shannon, and the respect that they showed by wearing red arm bands in their next game.
· We don’t know the names of the individuals and companies that have helped us through this time, but their help has been very much appreciated, we are very grateful.

- Richard Griffiths – for your help with accommodation and flights which enabled us to stay at Shannon’s side and transport our other 3 children home when the time came. For organizing a visit for Shannon by two Brisbane Lions Players (Troy Selwood and Josh Drummond), these kind gestures lifted Shannon’s spirits and were greatly appreciated.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY
- Kelly and Jack – for being there for Shannon the entire time he has been in Queensland. Before, during and after this incident.
- Family members and friends that have flown from Melbourne and Western Australia to be by Shannon’s side.
- All other friends and families that have stayed in constant contact with us by telephone, offering their support.
