Lismore turned up to Nimbin on Saturday without many key players and competed against a full squad od determined Demons. Nimbin put on the pressure early in the first however it didn't take long before the Swans took control of the match. Many missed opportunities up forward by the Swans as they charged in with a 41 point lead at the first break.
The Second quarter was much the same as Nimbin struggled to keep against a much fitter side. The Swans continued to attack throughout the second getting away to a 75 point lead at the main break.
Lismore shared the ball around up forward in the third as they continued to dominate the match, however strong pressure and determination by the Dees helped them to kick 4 of there own for the quarter. The Swans going into the final break with a 98 point lead.
The Demons started off in brilliant fashion to kick the first goal of the final term but it was all Swannies after that. The scores could have been much stronger for Lismore however many behinds were kicked in the final quarter as a result of players blazing away. In the end a good performance all round by the Lismore team however it never seemed as if the side got out of second gear. Swans by 147 points
Goal kickers: Wesley Seewald 5, Daniel Bruce, Jake Ryan and George Massa with 4 each, 3 goals to Jeremy Lamberton, 2 each to Daniel Moloney and Jarrod Kelly, while singles were kicked by Rowan Hindry, Phil Tsourlinis, Ryan Woolley, Simon Howard, and Brad Delaney.
