The North Ballarat Rebels take on the Calder Cannon’s at 1pm this Sunday at ABD Stadium in Coburg.
The Rebels are coming off consecutive defeats and will be keen to get back on the winners list against the inconsistent Cannon’s.
The Rebels have made 2 changes from last week’s team with the pacey Kurt Aylett returning and Daylesford junior, Jordan Alexander will make debut for the Rebels after consistent performances at local level.
Matt Sully and Simon Close will all return to local football this weekend. At mid season the Rebels have currently played a total of 38 players.
There will also be changes to the Rebels coaching staff for this week due to the unavailability of Rebels Head Coach Glen Wilkins due to family illness. This gives a great opportunity for Rebels Assistant Coach David Loader to take the reins for the weekend and further develop his coaching skills.
