After a two week break we are back to footy this week with our challenge being Narre Warren. In our last game against Beacy the seniors came so close only going down by two points for the McMillan Cup better players were Dehey, Chiz, Morrison, Riggy, Woppa & Youngy. The reserves are traveling along very nicely in the last game beating an undefeated Beaconsfield by 10 points with the better players being White, Hoogy, Glover, Poop & Wally. They are now sitting equal top with two other teams, today will be another tough test against 5th placed Narre at home. The U/18 went down to Beacy by 52 points with the better players being Churchy, Harmes, Beany, Laing, Morrell & Phillipson. Clover Cottage was once again a success with delicious food & great company although I believe there were a few sore heads the next morning!!! Congratulations to Riggy who represented Devon Meadows in the recent Interleague match it’s been a while since the club has been represented he did a marvelous job & got a huge wrap from the coach after the game. Well done Riggy!
