With the boys desperate for a win to get their season back on track, the players showed the desperation needed to win at this level.
Brett Johnson was fantastic at CHF, and with the mid field getting on top due to the great work from Scott Weaver and Michael kettlewell.
Ryan Cole's tagging role after half time on their main ball winner was a match turning move as Ryan not only shut him down but won plenty of the ball and gave us the spark that was needed.
Big Vince Detenanio was the instigator in stepping up the tackling pressure as he layed tackle after tackle in the third qaurter and
forced the Uni players to hesitate at critial times.
Rian Mcgaughey and Lachlin Harris were also very good down back and also gave us plenty of run after half time.
Michael Harris was moved out of the backline and up onto the wing with instant success with his penetrating kicks forward it was putting the Uni backline under alot of pressure.
The final quarter was a bueaty with the Hornets holding despite Uni fighting it right out to the end but with their last 3 shots at goal resulting in behinds, the boys hung in and got home by 5 points.
Well done to gilbo and all the players for a well deserved win.
