Last Sunday's 13 point win over second-placed Labrador Tigers sees the Pumas two wins ahead on the premiership table. After intensive training sessions over the past fortnight in preparation for the match, the rewards for the coaches and players were apparent on the paddock.
It was fitting that Josh Brown celebrated his 100th game with the club with a season-best performance while Grayson Follett also played his 100th game and celebrated it with 2 goals.
Coach Paul Opbroek is now looking for the squad to take their play to another level in the next round of matches, beginning with the return clash in a fortnight at Lowe Oval between arguably the best opposition in Palm-Beach Currumbin who squandered their opportunities against the Pumas in Round 1 of the competition.
Coach Paul Opbroek's report of last Sunday's match against Labrador can be read here.
