You don't have to play football or netball to be a valued part of the Demon family.
Volunteers are always needed, and there are so many tasks that no matter what your interests or skills are we will be able to find something to suit you.
In the meantime you'll stay fit, be a part of a great social club and maybe even add a few items of interest to your resume. As a volunteer there are a myriad of training and skill development opportunities open to you.
Some of the tasks currently undertaken by our exceptional volunteers include: coach, scorer, netball umpire, goal umpire, boundary umpire, field umpire, trainer, runner, scoreboard attendant, timekeeper, grounds maintenance, cleaning duties, canteen helpers, bar attendant, gate entry attendant, fundraising helpers, social events organisers, kitchen hands, bar staff, committee members, publicity and promotions, facilities maintenance, project managers...phew, the list just goes on and on.
In recent years our volunteers have undergone training including: first aid courses, sports trainers courses, responsible service of alcohol certification, safe food handling certification, coaching accreditation courses, umpire workshops....and on and on we go again.
Our volunteers are greatly valued by our club and we aknowledge that without the volunteers behind the scenes we just wouldnt be able to field the great sporting teams that our town addores!
