On a magnificent Noosa Saturday afternoon our Tigers took on 4th placed Surfers Paradise to wipe away the memories of last weeks derby loss and get our win/loss record back into the black.
After an even first quarter where Noosa should have held a handy lead (it was 4.8 to 4.4) the boys really controlled the day and drew away at each break.
In fact whilst the Demons had some great patches, the 8.14 to 6.5 half time scoreboard flattered them.
11 goals to 7 in the second half with Rizza in fantastic touch (& kicking 4) and Hicksy finishing with 6 majors, saw the Tigers put their season back on track with some guys who had been down in recent weeks bouncing back into form

In the two's it wasnt as good a tale with the boys trailing by 27 points at 1/4 time and eventually going down by 55 points against a very polished Surfers outfit.
It was great to see young Harry Opie and Matt Smith having a run in the two's and adding some vitality, run and chase to the side and surely our future is to bring in our young talent for tastes of men's footy at this level.
Chayse and Roo were again in good touch as was Jack Rhodes with an injured Crossy showing great toughness and loyalty kicking 2 from a stationary forward pocket
