MSI Taylor Mascot - Round 5

Matt Westwood from the Sherwood U/10's was the lucky Round 5 MSI Taylor Western Magpies Mascot for the home game against Aspley. After changing into the famous number 1 Magpies Mascot jumper Matt was introduced to Co Captain Mark Dowley and then became part of the team. Matt joined in with the team as it went through its warm up for the big game against the Hornets. Little did he know but Matt was about to take part in a special pre match activity where the whole team went into the funtion room to whatch a special motivational DVD.

I mediately following the DVD Matt led the Tradelink Western Magpies out onto Wildbrook Wines Park to the cheers of the Magpies faithfull supporters and stayed with the team during the final warm up before the bounce of the ball.

Matts Mum and Dad say he has not stopped talking about his experience since Saturday.
