We didn't have a great day over at Kongorong last week coming home with only the one win in the Reserves.
The Junior Colts were beaten by a bigger side last week. Tom Schulz and Mason Bunt played well once again. Incentives: Tyler Snook (KAOS), James Barclay (Peter Walters), Dylan Montouri (John Cavanagh), Tom Schulz (Gary Nilsson), John Thorpe (HFC Ladies) and Mason Bunt (HS&Rec).
The Senior Colts struggled against Kongorong, the Ogilvie brothers played well as did John Thorpe in his second game for the day. Incentives: Michael Ogilvie (Seebohms), Stephen Ogilvie (Gary Nilsson), John Thorpe (HFC Ladies), Zane Wallis (HS& Rec) and Kieren Agnew (John Cavanagh).
The Reserves came away with a 2 goal win against their nemesis Kongorong. Stratty is playing fine footy once again this season kicking 3 goals. Jimmy made a welcome return and Lois Wakelin continued his form from last week. Incentives: Lois Wakelin (K & S Ampol), Justin WInter (Beachport Hotel), Eli Strother (Dave' Paint & Panel) and Jimmy Reimann (Grand Hotel).
The Seniors went down in a tough physical encounter and have now slipped out of the 4. Our 4th quarter let us down scoring only 2 points while the Hawks booted 5 straight. Dave Green was playing a fantastic game until sidelined with an injury in the last. Frank Brennan chipped in with a handy 7 goals and Jase Faulkner made a welcome return to the side. Sneathy and Luke Haines were also handy contributors. Clinton Slape made his debut and featured in the best players. Incentives: David Green (Somerset Hotel), Frank Brennan (Beachport Hotel), Brett Sneath (Millicent Golf) and Jase Faulkner (Bompas).
Calcutta: 1st David Green, 2nd Frank Brennan 3rd Jase Faulkner.
