The Northern Knights were proud to be invited to conduct a
Football Clinic for AV Jennings at the opening of their new display village in
Epping. Thousands of people flocked to the Lydarum Display Village on Saturday 4th
April for the event many of which we waiting patiently for the Northern Knights
players to arrive. Around 200 people of various ages participated in the
football clinic run by Knights players Glenn Grgic, Debri Kutrolli & Braydn
Taglieri. Also assisting the Knights were some students from the Sports Education Development Australia School at Montmorency.
Special guests Andrew Lovett of Essendon Football Club and Hamish McIntosh from
North Melbourne Football Club were present and posed for photographs with the
crowd. Adrian Talarico Development Officer at the Northern Knights said âThe
Knights boys were very professional in the way they conducted the clinic and
were only too willing to pose for numerous photos with the large congregation
of peopleâ. The event organisers were thoroughly impressed with the day overall
and claimed it was a record attendance for one of their openings. The Northern
Knights Football Club would like to thank AV Jennings for the opportunity and
would like to be involved if a similar event was to be held in the future. The
Knights also thank Glenn, Braydn, Debri and the SEDA Students for their help on
the day.
