Life Membership GFNC - 2001
Lindy moved to Gormandale in 2001 with husband Bob in 1985 and almost immediately became involved with the club on the ladies committee. Lindy did play a bit of netball in her early days at the club but when not on the court was in the canteen and could be found there every home game throughout the rest of the eighties and the nineties. In that time she also had 3 children in Casey, Jodie, and Toby who also made the place home on Saturdays and training nights where she was instrumental in introducing player meals on training nights and Friday counter tea’s for the locals. It’s fair to say that during footy season Lindy & Bob almost lived at the club. Lindy’s hard work was rewarded in 2001 with a Life Membership. Lindy joined Bob in the clubs Hall of Fame when she was inducted in 2016
