Copeland to lead Hornets into new era

At last night 2009 jersey presentation, Robbie Copeland was announced as Captain and the man to lead the players onto the ground in Sundays historic Round 1 for the Aspley Hornets.

Robbie will be well assisted by Vice captains, Brent Evans, Mathew Argus, Luke Mathews and former Lions player Marcus Allan

The list of 60 produced some new faces of which many will be at the Hornets for the first time. Brodie Shade and Adrian williams from tasmania will head up the interstate recruits while there is also many young players from the GC17 outfit.
