Western Sydney
To all U13âÂÂs & U14âÂÂs Players and Parents
This year the Western Sydney Region will be fielding two Representative teams in each age group in the Greater Sydney Juniors - Talented Player Program (TPP) selection trial weekend, which is held over the June long weekend (6th & 7th June) at the Sydney Showground, Homebush Bay.
The U13âÂÂs will play on the Saturday and the U14âÂÂs on the Sunday. Both will be long days with the indication being that the first game will commence at 9.00am and if successful, the last game would be at approx 8.30pm. (please note this may change).
The Western Sydney Regional committee wishes to invite all eligible players, 13âÂÂs born 1996 and 14âÂÂs born 1995, to attend train on squads on Monday 23rd March 2009 at Greenway Park, Carnes Hill (Hoxton Park exit M7). The night will commence at 5:45pm for a start 6:00pm and last for approx 1 ý hours finishing at 7:30pm.
On the first Monday night you will need to hand in the Player Information sheet, this information can be downloaded off the Western Sydney Regional website http://gwfa.aflnswact.com.au the Waiver sheet will be provided at the ground.
There will be further training sessions on the following Monday nights 30 March, 6 and 13 April 09. At which point the final squad will be selected you are required to attend each of these nights.
On the training nights you are asked to wear suitable football clothing (no board shorts, t-shirts are acceptable) and to ensure that you have your mouth guard and a water bottle with you.
For those players who are then selected in the final Western Sydney Regional Teams, there is a Representative Levy of $50, this is levied to help meet costs for a Polo, Shorts & Socks.
