Aquinas Old Collegians football club is delighted to announce the appointment of Brenton Pearce as coach of the under 19 team for season 2009. Brenton is an accredited level 4 coach. He played senior football with Heathmont football club, until injuries forced his early retirement. He has had a lot of success and gained considerable experience coaching junior football sides at Heathmont Jets. Brenton has also played district cricket with the Ringwood Cricket club.
Brenton has junior cricket coaching commitments this week, however, he is very excited about his latest appointment and will be available to come on board next week. He has immediately appointed Rob Tucknott as his assistant coach. Rob has played senior football with Heathmont and Bayswater football clubs.
Following Brentons appointment, the club is now focused on recruiting additional under 19 players, to ensure that we provide our junior playing group with another enjoyable and successful season, similar to what our under 19 team experienced last year.
