Our new rebound defender Brad Kearney is one man who can tell you all about bitumen and white lines after he recently hopped off a plane in Perth from Phuket at 3am and at 5am the next morning jumped in the car with girlfriend Belinda to drive here to Tigerland to join the Tiges.
First stop Cocklebiddy â population 75 (fact!) on the Eyre Highway, next night at Port Augusta in SA, with reloâs in Berri the next night and after bunking in Lithgow on night 4 it was a short all day cruise into Noosa on day 5. This man deserves a beer and a pat on the back!
Brad and Belinda are looking for a house to rent but at the moment have joined the exploding population at Rizzaâs place which in one way is good as Boothy can take Brad out and share their passion for fishing (a small Bream has broken Adamâs duck and we look forward to Brad topping that soon) where they have already dipped a line in after training recently.
Brad also doesnât mind picking up the willow in the summer season and has only recently started running getting ready for the upcoming footy season.
As Captain of Busselton (and the Rep Side) last year, Brad played off half back and sometimes on a wing and from what we hear is highly respected back in his home town and should fit into the Tiger line up nicely..
Brad is a qualified sparky and should be right to find work while Belinda is looking for something in Banking or Financial planning (she worked for Westpac back home).
All at the Tigers welcome you here and hope you enjoy living in paradise and playing with a great bunch of blokes.
