In the Reserves, the Rebels and Yarra Junction Eagles played a tight first half with the Rebels kicking two goals to one in the first quarter and both teams adding a goal in the second quarter, the Rebels leading by three points at half time. The Eagles kicked two goals to one in the third quarter in an entertaining game, to lead by two points at the last change but the Rebels moved up a gear and kicked four unanswered goals in the last quarter to take the win, Alexandra 8.7 – 55 to Yarra Junction 4.10 – 34. The boys will now head to the Preliminary final to take on Kinglake at Yarra Glen on Sunday 28.08.22
