The representative school sides were selected after recent competitions in both MCS and PDSSCC. Local high schools dominated the competition with McCarthy Catholic College winning their recent PDSSSC final in a thriller at Mt Druitt, whilst St Doms were the dominant team in the MCS competition.
Congratulations to Jeremy Rix (PDSSSC), Chris Nolan and David Looyschelder (MCS) who played in the final at the Sydney Showgrounds. The three Lions players were most impressive during the 80 minute match. PDSSSC took an early lead but it was MCS who finished stronger and were victors on the day.
Many thanks go to all the schools involved for their participation as well as AFL's School Liason Officer, Jean Price, who worked tirelessly to make this high school competition a success.
