The Reserves had a number of players unavailable but welcomed Jedd Hamill and Jordan Rice back to the Club together with Todd Galloway for his first game since 2001 and Paul Wallis down from the Gold Coast. Despite all the rain over the last couple of weeks the ground was in good condition and the Rebels managed to record a win, Alexandra 12.5 – 77 to Yarra Junction 7.4 – 46.

The Seniors again had players missing, handling the conditions in the first quarter but unable to convert opportunities with three goals from seven scoring shots, an even second quarter saw the Rebels lead by two goals at half time. An even third quarter set up for an exciting last quarter but the visitors added two unanswered goals to take the win by three points, Alexandra 7.10 – 52 to Yarra Junction 8.7 – 55.
