King’s Basketball Club – 2022 GCJBL Registration Information
Welcome to the 2022 GCJBL Winter Season with King's Basketball Club please read ALL Information below before Registering your Child/ren.
The Gold Coast Junior Basketball league (GCJBL) is the Premier Gold Coast Junior Basketball Competition.
The League consists of 13 clubs: Burleigh Blades, Gold Coast Celtics, Heat Basketball Club, PBC Magpies, Northern Nets, Pacific Pines Panthers, Somerset Spartans, (Somerset College students only) TSS Suns, (TSS students only) Southern Coast Slammers, Varsity Vipers., Kings Basketball Club (Kings Christian College students only), Central Stars, Lindisfarne Lions (Lindisfarne College students only).
Competitions are run for boys in the U9,11,13,15,17 and 20 age groups and U9,11,13,15 and Open Girls (U13-U20).
The purpose of the GCJBL is to provide a competition pathway for junior basketball players on the Gold Coast.

The season includes: Four grading rounds, 14 regular season competition rounds, semis (top 4 teams in each competition only) and finals (Winners of the semi finals only)
GCJBL Venues
The GCJBL will predominantly be played at the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre at Carrara, we will also be utilising Tallebudgera Rec Centre and Somerset College on occasion.

2022 Gold Coast Basketball and Basketball Queensland Registration Information
All players must be registered with Gold Coast Basketball and Basketball Queensland to be eligible to participate in the 2022 GCJBL competition. The registration period for each product last for 365 days.

Gold Coast Basketball Representative Season:
To represent Gold Coast Basketball in the SQJBC season; all players must participate in 50% of the 2022 Winter Season games to be eligible to Trial. Summer league is NOT an eligible competition.
