The Committee of the Holroyd Parramatta Blacktown Australian Football Club is greatly pleased to announce the re-appointment of 300 game player, Troy Balzan, as First Grade Coach for the 2009 season.
In his 3 years as senior coach Troy has taken the senior team to 6th place in 2006, to the semi-finals in 2007 and to a Preliminary Final berth - 3rd place overall - in 2008.
He has done an outstanding job of rebuilding our ‘on field’ competitiveness over that time and we wish him well in our attempt to win the flag next season.
The Committee is also has the plearsure to announce the appointment of Paul Eastman as First Grade Assistant Coach for 2009.
Paul has a wealth of playing experience as a junior in Perth, Melbourne, Canberra and Baulkham Hills and played 234 senior games with Baulkham Hills (now East Coast Eagles), Bateau Bay, East Coast Eagles and the Goannas before retiring in 2001. He was an Assistant Coach at Bateau Bay and Baulkham Hills as well as a junior coach with Kellyville.
His experience and professional approach will be of great assistance to Troy and the club next season.
Welcome back on board Easto.
