Dear Players, Members, Supporters & Volunteers
As announced this morning, on the advice of Victoria's public health team, Victoria will move to circuit breaker restrictions from 11:59pm tonight for seven (7) days. These settings will remain in place until 11:59pm on Thursday 3 June 2021.
What does this mean for us as a Club right now until midnight tonight?
If you are showing any symptoms, or close contact to someone who is, please do not attend training or the club rooms.
Please check the updated exposure site list. If you have been to any of these sites or know a close contact who has, please do not attend training or the club rooms.
All scheduled fixtured games for all our competitions football & netball during this time - Friday to Sunday - will be cancelled and unable to be played. At this stage we do not know what will happen if rescheduled etc but will communicate once we know more.
Training scheduled for tonight Thursday 27 May will still be going ahead with coaches adhering to ensuring all persons are checked in via QR Code or recorded, social distancing and hygiene protocols around shared equipment etc.
Club Thursday Night Meals will still be going ahead however we ask everyone to note the following:
- No one will be able to enter club rooms without checking in via QR code.
- Kids will need to ensure parents are there to check them in and seated with parents.
- Maintain social distancing of 1.5m at all times.
- There will be one door to enter the rooms and one door to exit the rooms.
- We will be limiting people to our entry limit of 200 people including meals and apparel volunteers.
- There will be a time limit of 30 minutes maximum you can spend in the clubrooms; please eat your meal, have a drink and leave when you can.
- We ask people to remain seated where possible.
- Why not bring a container and get meals to take away to support club and ensure Cam's food prep doesn't go to waste.
We know it was going to be a big ask to get through a 'normal' football/netball season without this virus impacting on our sport. We appreciate everyone's efforts over the last months keeping our Club safe.
We will communicate further information if and when it comes to hand.
