In late July, the Board of Directors of AFL Ontario made the unanimous decision that there will be no 2020 season.
This affects both the competition for Men and Women. This decision was not made lightly, but was obviously informed by the current situation we are all facing. It factored in the leagues’ responsibility to not only players, coaches, members, supporters, friends and family but also our impact to our community at large.
The Swans recognize that everyone is dealing with situations off the field that dwarf the cancellation of our season. We remain committed to continue as a club that supports each other throughout the challenges we are all facing.
We will continue to train, adhering to the rules and policies implemented by the federal, provincial and municipal governments, The Swans can respect social distancing, and still be here for each other and our AFL community.
