Happy Monday to all Goanna supporters.
The Goannas were spread across Sydney this weekend, giving the playing surface at Gipps Rd a breather after back to back home rounds.
U19s Division 2
Played a tough one under lights out at Gore Hill. The boys played hard and fought till the last second. When we convert our chances we will get back in the winner’s circle.
Goannas: 5.10-40
North Shore: 8.8-56
Women’s Reserves (Division 2)
A fast paced game showcased both teams strengths. The girls fought hard and to their credit made Blacktown earn every goal. however the more experienced opposition took control during the second half. Overall the girls played great footy and learnt a lot for the upcoming weeks.
Well done team!
Goannas: 1.2.8
Western Magic: 19.14-128
Women’s 1st Grade (Division 1)
Playing our first away game for the season, once again the ladies showcased a strong performance and executed their game plan to perfection.
Fantastic achievement with 3 ladies kicking 5+ goals for the game. Everyone should be proud of their efforts!
Goannas: 24.19-163
Sydney Uni: 2.3.15
Men’s 1st Grade (Platinum Division)
The boys came out firing from the first bounce, playing the brand of footy we have been trying to execute for 4 quarters over the past 2 weeks. The game was played entirely on the Goannas terms and the result speaks for itself.
Goannas: 21.18-144
Western Magic: 6.3-39
