Life Membership GFNC - 2016
Mal started at the club as a supporter in 1990 watching son Dean play. Mal was always happy to help out particularly on game days as time keeper or penalty steward. In 1992 he joined the clubs committee taking on the role as club President in 1994 & Premiership year 1995. Mal was a very hands on President and spent many hours out at the club looking after the ground surface in particular. After Dean’s playing days were finished, Mal was part of the original Chook Auction group from its commencement in 2006, and assisted with the 3 auctions per month for a number of years. In 2016 the club recognised Mal’s past efforts with a Life Membership.
