In conjunction with the City of Ottawa’s Adopt-A-Park program, the Ottawa Swans AFC are happy to announce that they have committed to adopting Minto Park located on Elgin St in what was traditionally known as Corkstown, but is now referred to as the Golden Triangle. The Swans will organize and carry several cleanups of the park a year in order to ensure that everyone can enjoy the park as it’s meant to be. A sign signifying the Club’s commitment with be installed at the park at a later date.
Minto Park is a well-loved parks in Ottawa, with plenty of park benches, a permanent chess board, lots of old trees that provide shade. As well, ‘Enclave’ , a monument in honour of Ottawa Women who were victims of violence is located in the park.
The Swans look forward to giving back to the community.
