The Toronto Dingos fell to 3-2 on the 2019 season at the hands of a strong, young Hamilton Wildcats squad playing on home turf in Hammertown. Playing in overcast conditions with a strong crosswind, the Dingos struggled to get anything going through the midfield, and despite a four-goal performance by Thomas Santibanez-Espinosa couldn't make use of the pill in the forward lines. Gameplay experience for a mostly-rookie lineup provided a silver-lining for the Red and Black, who continue to work up a young core of new players in the march to a potential 2019 Finals appearance.
FINAL SCORE:
Dingos - 5.3-33
WILDCATS - 19.14-128
Dingo Goals - T. Santibanez-Espinosa 4, D. Dutt
The Dingos will hit the road against for Round 6, heading to the Capital to face the league-leading Ottawa Swans.
