Woodend/Hesket – This young hawks team is sitting second on the ladder with four wins and one loss. They are looking to rebound from their first loss of the season (against Wallan) to regain their momentum.
Riddell – Currently seventh on the ladder with one win and a draw. It will be keen for a win.
LAST WEEK
Woodend-Hesket – Suffered its first loss against Wallan in a wet, slippery game where it struggled to play its fast running game. The last half was much better than the first, turning the tables to win both quarters. This team did well to keep their composure and pull back the deficit.
Riddell – went down 20-47 against ladder leaders Rupertswood.
WHY THEY WILL WIN
Woodend-Hesket – Will be keen to prove themselves and bounce back. Back at home, with a full team, and will be too strong right across the court. Macca will be powerful in the midcourt and the combination of Emma and Gemma in goals will be hard to stop.
Riddell – will be determined to hit hard, fresh off a Hawks loss.
