Junior presentation day - 2008
The YMCA's Junior Presentation Day at the YMCA in Newtown started with a BBQ and drinks for all players and families followed by the presentation of participation medals for all players in the Under 10 to Under 14 age groups and MVP and coaches' awards for the Under 16 and Under 18 teams.
The winners of the awards for 2008 were:
GIRLS
Under 16 A:
MVP - Cassidy Nelson; Coach's Award - Zoe Vaughan
Under 16 B:
MVP - Sarah Spicer; Coach's Award - Georgie Thompson
Under 16 B Cougars:
MVP - Bernadette Downey; Coach's Award - Sarah Chiavaroli
Under 18 A:
MVP -Tegan Barber; Coach's Award -Zoe Tompkins
Under 18 B:
MVP - Amy Kelly; Coach's Award - Julia O’Connor
BOYS
Under 16 A:
MVP - Riley Herbert; Coach's Award - Ben Tutone
Under 16 B:
MVP - Jaxsyn Scholes; Coach's Award -Tom Simic
Under 18 A:
MVP - Mitchell Herbert; Coach's Award -Kurtis Giles
