In front of a vocal crowd, the Saints were too strong all over the ground giving a great display of speed and skills that the Kangaroos could not match.
They got off to a great start booting 5 goals to 2 in the first quarter. Tristan McCormick and Mark Couzens seemed to be everywhere.
The second quarter got a little fiery and tempers started to flare up. This did unsettle the boys a little and the Kangaroos got back into the game.
Coach Russ Matthews read his team the riot act at half time and the boys came out in the 3rd quarter firing.
The second half was all Saints. Ben Hooke kicked 6 goals for the day, with Tristan McCormick kicking 4 and Jai Hardy 3.
The team had 10 goal scorers for the day which has been a trademark during the season.
A fabulous team effort to win by the greatest winning margin in a Grand Final.
Mark Couzens was awarded the Jim Woodlock Medal for the Best on Ground.
