Physical and mental health is the cornerstone to a happier life and the Woodend-Hesket Football Club provides a safe place for middle-aged men to socialise and focus on their wellbeing.
The Masters support football lovers aged over 35 and play fortnightly games in the Victorian Country Masters Australian Football League.
Training is held at 6.30pm on Wednesday and Friday nights at Buffalo Stadium in Woodend during cricket season, and at Gilbert Gordon Oval during football season.
Anyone interested in playing is encouraged to join in, or even help out with training or game-day roles. There’s always a place here for you.
Players’ registration costs $200: This includes:
• Payment for all 2019 matches
• Upgraded insurance taken out by the club *
For all players this year, this amount also covers socks and playing shorts.
A Social Membership, for those not wanting to play but remain involved, costs $75.
