TSS Suns Basketball Winter 2019 Registration Information
Welcome to the 2019 GCJBL Winter Season with TSS Suns Basketball. Please Read ALL Information below before Registering your Child/ren.
The Gold Coast Junior Basketball league is the Premier Gold Coast Junior Basketball Competition.
The League consists of ten clubs: Blades, Celtics, Heat, Magpies, Nets, Panthers, Spartans, TSS Suns, Slammers & Varsity Vipers.
Competitions are run for both boys and girls in the U9,11,13,15,17 and 20 age groups.
The purpose of the GCJBL is to provide a competition pathway for junior basketball players on the Gold Coast.
The Winter Seasons commences February 20th through to September 7th. Summer Season Dates TBA. Registration is only open for the Winter Season (fees will cover the Pre-Season Grading and Winter Season).
GCJBL Venues
The GCJBL will predominantly be played at the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre in Carrara and Tallebudgera Rec Centre.

Trials- All Age Groups - You must be registered to attend trials
Friday 1 February, Monday 4 February and Friday 8 February
All trials will be held at TSS Centenary Centre, in age groups 4.00pm to 5.00pm for all U9/11/13 and from 5.00pm to 6.00pm for all Under 15/17/20 age groups
TSS Suns Winter Club Fees
Gold Coast Basketball/Basketball Queensland Registration for 2019 is $110.00 for players in age groups U11-U20's + Club Fees (see below).
Gold Coast Basketball/Basketball Queensland Registration for players in U9’s is $60.00 + Club Fees (see below).
TSS Suns Winter Club Fee for UNDER is $285.00 which can be either paid in full or by Instalments into our club Bank Account TSS Suns Basketball BSB 484799 Account 202 246 295rectly.
Part payment information
$100.00 Payable on registration
$100.00 payable on the 1st March
$ 85.00 payable on the 1st April
All families on part payments will be emailed reminders form the club to pay 21,14,7 and 1 day before the due date. Any player that is not up to date on payments will not be eligible to participate in any games until fees are brought up to date.
All Club fees include Game Fees, Team Nomination Fees, Training Costs and end of season Presentation Awards Day.
All fees are to be paid Online Prior to Trials. You must be registered for Gold Coast Basketball in Full $110 AND paid at least the deposit of TSS Suns Club Fees to attend trials and be considered for a team. We also accept Get Started vouchers towards Club Fees.

Uniforms
TSS Suns provide playing singlets so you only need to purchase plain navy blue shorts no pockets or logos. Sizing will be done during trials.
TSS Suns Training
Trainings will be held at Centenary and sessions will be confirmed once teams and coaches have been confirmed.
Coaches and Team Managers
In order for TSS Suns to enter teams into competitions, it is imperative that we have coaches and managers for each team.
We will cover all volunteer coaches costs to become accredited with their Level 1.

2019 Representative Season:
To represent Gold Coast Basketball in the 2019/2020 BQJBC season; all players must participate in 50% of the 2019 Winter Season games to be eligible to Trial. Trials are generally held at the end of the year October/November. Further Information will be provided later in the Club Season.
