For the second year running the University Hawks have finished runnerup! Its not something to hang our hat on but can be used more as an incentive to take the next big step and grab that premiership moving forward!
Heartbreak can come in many forms in this great game of ours and this year was one that cut deep given the success of the season that was in 2018. Some could say that a long year with much buildup, promise and success can only be measured truly in the piece of silverware that would take place on the mantle, the name etched into the perpetual shield. But no, weas a club will take this and help keep the fires burning to take the next forward into 2019! A massive pat on the back for all those involved as we look forward to what will be another fantastic year at the Hawks, new fresh start and plenty more drive to take that next big step in 2019!
