Thanks to 46 fantastic players on the day, Coaches , Support staff, and YOU who produced one of the most amazing and convincing Seniors & Reserves Premiership victories seen for years. To some it would have a been boring day watching one side demolish the other. But not to the huge Vermont crowd who were in heaven.
We asked for supporters to IGNITE THE PASSION and you did, Thursday training was sensational and Saturday at the game was just as good. There was a real determination in the players that second place was no option. They appreciated your response and were not going to let YOU down.
The scenes in the Senior Rooms after the match was unprecedented, it was absolutely packed and the energy of that was unbelievable. With both the Seniors and Reserves players leading the way, the Song was a loud as we have ever heard. They were pumped and ready for some celebrations. That noise stopped abruptly for a very relieved and happy Coach Harmit Singh to say a few words. We had broken a run of outs THE EAGLE WAS BACK
The only disappointment was not having the Under 19’s playing, although plenty of those boys were boys were there. They had a terrific year, but things just went against them in the finals losing two games by 2 & 1 point.
