The Reserves lost only their second game for year when Sth.Croydon got them in the final few minutes. Good to see Lachie Johns get through the game on his road back. Better players were Matt Garvin for another super game in defence, Jack Furey, Xavier Barry-Murphy, Pat Wallis, Matt Brown and Ryan Phillips. The Under 19’s were left high and dry with Balwyn unable to field a side for the second time against us this year. Disappointing, given the proximity of the finals. Congratulations to our Junior Club who won U12Purple and the Under 14 Purple. The U16 & U18 Girls will play in Grand Finals this weekend. Saturday we play our very old rivals Blackburn with the Reserves game in particular deciding who is on top of ladder. Our Women’s Team play a Second Semi today vs Mt.Evelyn at Silvan starting at 1pm. The U16 & U18 Girls are in Grand Finals also. SOCIAL:- The Craig Bellamy Lunch was a wonderful success, thankyou to those who attended and those who helped run it.
