Coach Boston has put his reputation on the line in making himself available for selection for the Old Boys this week now his coaching committment to the Magoos is over for the season. His terms of $20 per effective kick and $50 per goal have been accepted by the OB's treasurer. Coach Boston says he is happy to take a $20 cut per disposal to help out. The Old Boys however are confident that the cost to the club will be zilch, nada, nil, zero. In a further attempt to lure the star full-back-and-full-of-it, Tom Grogan has offered his valued number 4 jumper.
Rolfey on the other hand will be paying $50 to anyone who kicks the ball to him, opposition or team mates! In fact Rolfey is stripping just to match the number of kicks Dan from Choice Homes achieved in the last game of 2007 (which may or may not cost him someone's house). We think it is really part of Silly Sunday next week!
Quote Darren Kerger "We only need to be shown that the pair can pass the fitness test, then we will cross the bridge of finding a jumper big enough to fit over Bosto's head."
Rumour also has it that a trade is underway - Snr coach, Shaun Hart and BOB President Darren ‘Tank’ Kerger are negotiating a trade for the dynamic duo. It has been said before that Shaun wants Allen Lawson on the half back flank for season 2009.
